Negotiation And Diplomatic Skills For OSCE Mission In Kosovo Municipal Team Members

Senior Program Officers Ted Feifer and Noor Kirdar conducted a specially tailored negotiation and diplomatic skills workshop for OSCE Mission in Kosovo municipal team members in Pristina on April 18-20, 2007. There were 22 participants (12 international and 10 national staff), who currently monitor municipalities in Kosovo on good governance, democratic practices, and human rights issues.

SENSE and Conflict Management Training (Baghdad, Iraq)

With tremendous support from the Institute’s Baghdad Office, the Iraq Institute for Economic Reform (IIER) conducted a five-day SENSE and Conflict Management training exercise for the Baghdad Provincial Council at the request of the Baghdad Provincial Reconstruction Team. This session was also supported by Training Program Officer Allison Frendak and confirmed the success of the effort to establish an Iraqi-managed SENSE capability.
