Michael Bruhn is the chief operating officer and executive vice president of USIP.

Bruhn has 27 years of experience in strategy development, operations management, finance, administration, human resources, information technology, data management, supply chain management, and disaster and emergency management.

Prior to USIP, Bruhn held senior executive positions in multiple organizations. For the past seven years, he led the technology, consulting and research practice at IQVIA focused on healthcare and life sciences across the federal government. Prior to this, Bruhn spent two decades in the U.S. Air Force, rising to the rank of colonel, and held senior positions at the regional headquarters level as well as at the Pentagon coordinating the Air Force’s global medical operations.

Bruhn is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He received a master’s in business administration from the College of William & Mary and a master’s from the USAF Air Command and Staff College.
