Farah Bdour is a senior advisor for USIP’s Israel and the Palestinian Territories program in the Institute’s Middle East and North Africa Center.

She is a conflict resolution and mediation specialist with more than a decade of experience working on peacebuilding efforts at the policymaking and civil society levels.

Based in Amman, Jordan, she is currently the director of the Amman Center for Peace and Development — a think tank that provides analysis and recommendations to the policy community in Jordan and abroad.

She has also served as the country director for Jordan at Seeds of Peace and is a member of the Middle East Partnership for Peace Act advisory board, where she advises on people-to-people peacebuilding, dialogue and reconciliation programs. In 2024, she was a member of USIP’s inaugural cohort of John Lewis Fellows.
