Wayne Valis Joins U.S. Institute of Peace International Advisory Council
The United States Institute of Peace is pleased to announce that Wayne Valis, President & Founder of Valis Associates, LLC, a public policy consulting firm, has joined the USIP International Advisory Council. Formerly, Mr. Valis served as Special Assistant to President Ronald Reagan, advisor to Presidents Nixon and Ford, analyst at the American Enterprise Institute and editor at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute.

(Washington, February, 14) - The United States Institute of Peace is pleased to announce that Wayne Valis, President & Founder of Valis Associates, LLC, a public policy consulting firm, has joined the USIP International Advisory Council. Formerly, Mr. Valis served as Special Assistant to President Ronald Reagan, advisor to Presidents Nixon and Ford, analyst at the American Enterprise Institute and editor at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute.
Other members of the International Advisory Council include former diplomats, corporate executives, and leaders in the fields of international relations and conflict resolution. Prominent members of the Council include Former Defense Secretary Frank Carlucci, Former New York Fed Chairman John Whitehead, Ambassador Tom Korologos, former Undersecretary of State Thomas Pickering, Ambassador Max Kampelman, Governor Pete Wilson, Former Navy Secretary Richard Danzig and Ambassador Rich Williamson.
The International Advisory Council convenes regularly to discuss critical conflicts and crises around the world and advises USIP “on ways to improve America’s ability to manage conflict, prevent costly wars and save American lives.”
