The Academy's web site provides a description of the organization, its membership, credentials, a discussion forum on traumatic stress, and its official publication Traumatic Stress. - David Baldwin's Trauma Information Pages
Web site has extensive links to material on trauma, including definitions, full-text articles, related web sites, handouts, and other resources (databases, e-mail discussion lists, electronic journals, selected readings, etc.) Compiled by psychologist David Baldwin. - International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS)
The web site includes resources for professionals, the public and the media. It publishes the Journal of Traumatic Stress, a newsletter and other materials. Also includes lists of links to related web sites among its resources. - National Center for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
The web site for the National Center for PTSD contains the PILOTS database (Published International Literature on Traumatic Stress), "an electronic index to the worldwide literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health consequences of exposure to traumatic events." - Center for the Study of Mind and Human Interaction (CSMHI)
The web site for this interdisciplinary center, part of the University of Virginia's School of Medicine, has descriptions of international projects which include work in the Caspian and Black Sea, Republic of Georgia, Estonia, and on a Turkish-Greek dialogue. - The Center for Victims of Torture (CVT)
The web site of the Center for Victims of Torture includes a report on public policy, research statistics, training resources, and a handbook for working with refugees who may be torture or war trauma survivors called New Neighbors, Hidden Scars. - Draft Guidelines for International Trauma Training
Guidelines developed by the Task Force on International Trauma Training, created in November 1999 by the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. The guidelines are for practitioners who develop local teaching and training programs intended to enhance local responses to trauma-related problems. - A Graduate Level Curriculum for Trauma Intervention and Conflict Resolution in Ethnopolitical Warfare, May 1 2001
Posted on the Canadian Psychological Association's web site, this curriculum is a product of the Ethnopolitical Warfare Curriculum Conference Planning Task Force of the Steering Committee of the Joint Initiative on Ethnopolitical Warfare of the American and Canadian Psychological Associations, and was supported by a grant from the United States Institute of Peace. Description of a "one year extra-curricular, inter-faculty training course on psychosocial and trauma response" produced by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), in cooperation with the Faculties of Philosophy and Medicine of the University of Pristina. - International Trauma Studies Program
